Terms of Service

Effective date: 21 October 2026

These terms describe the use of quitsar at quitsar.com, operated by Jan Mederly, Slovakia. Questions or complaints can be sent to [email protected].

The service

quitsar lets you import question banks, practice recall, schedule reviews, and take practice exams. Guest mode stores your library in your browser. Optional Google accounts store it online. The service is an educational aid; practice scores and generated or imported material are not official qualifications, professional advice, or a guarantee of exam results.

Your account

When you choose to create or use a quitsar account, these terms govern that service. Keep your Google account and devices secure. Do not use another person’s account or attempt to access their data. You must have any authorization required by the law applicable to you; if parental or guardian authorization is required, obtain it before creating an account.

Your content and acceptable use

You retain your rights to the material you upload. You permit the processing, storage, backup, and display reasonably needed to provide the study features you request. Upload only content you have permission to use, and respect others’ copyright and privacy. Do not upload unlawful material, attack the service, bypass access controls or quotas, or interfere with other users. Material generated by an AI tool should be checked against reliable sources before studying it.

Storage, backups, and deletion

Keep your own backups. Browser storage can be cleared, and online features require a connection. Guest and account libraries are separate; signing in does not automatically transfer guest data. File sizes and account quotas are shown in the app.

You can export your library and delete your account in Settings. Accounts are automatically deleted after 24 calendar months without a Google sign-in. Signing in again after that deadline starts a fresh account. Existing accounts receive the migration grace period explained in the Privacy Policy. Deletion of an online account does not remove backups you downloaded or guest copies on your devices.

Privacy and third-party services

The Privacy Policy explains the personal data processed, its purposes and legal bases, retention, and your rights. Google sign-in and Cloudflare hosting are third-party services with their own applicable terms and policies. This app is independently operated and is not endorsed by Google or Cloudflare.

Availability and responsibility

The service may change or be temporarily unavailable. We aim to keep it reliable but cannot promise uninterrupted access or that every question, explanation, score, or schedule is correct. We may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address unlawful use, security problems, or breaches of these terms. Where appropriate and feasible, we will explain the reason and provide a way to contact us.

Nothing in these terms removes statutory consumer rights or excludes responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud, intentional misconduct, or other mandatory protections. Use the contact address above to report a problem or seek a resolution.

Changes and applicable law

Material changes to these terms will be made clear before they take effect for continuing account use. You may export your data and stop using or delete your account if you do not accept them. Slovak law applies to these terms, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections available under the law of their country of residence or restricting any mandatory rights concerning courts or complaints.
